The Essence

There is an essence to a spiritual life, spiritual principles about our relationship to God and Jesus who makes God’s hand small enough to hold:

• God is the greatest experience in human existence. We can experience God because we are God’s children.
• The gift of eternal life comes from having faith and trust in God.
• Love is the most powerful force in the Earth. “Love one another as I have loved you” is the essence of Jesus’ teaching.
• Our body is the temple of God; God lives within each of us.
• Human life has a divine purpose.
• The most valuable spiritual practice is living our life with Jesus. Of all human knowledge, that which is of greatest value is to know the life of Jesus and how he lived it.
• A spirit-led life exhibits “fruits of the spirit,” which are: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.
• We are to become good sheep to Jesus and good shepherds to our brethern. You received freely… give freely to your brethern.

  1. Before you pray visualize god.mary, and Jesus and also say the Lord’s Prayer. Then pray with the attitude of a little child knowing your prayers are being heard, and if your faith is like that child it will be answered. God bless…

  2. When I can’t face the awesomeness of God, I zone in on MY Thought Controller, and thank him for guiding me into the right path. A peace settles over me to have such a companion into eternity. I sometimes contemplate his number.

  3. We have a small poster next to the door of our house: “Jesus makes the hand of God small enough to hold.” A concept so helpful to all of us “small children”! Peace, Keith
